NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ISSUED BY LOWER CAMERON PARISH
HOSPITAL SERVICE DISTRICT LEASED FOR X-RAY EQUIPMENT AND CT SCANNER FOR TEMPORARY MODULAR ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL
IN CREOLE, LOUISIANA
 
            Notice is hereby given that the Lower Cameron Parish Hospital Service District (the “District”), a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana, which owns public hospital facilities (“Hospital”) located in rural Creole, Louisiana is seeking to lease for a minimum 12-month term, X-Ray equipment and a CT Scanner for a temporary modular acute care hospital facility (“Temporary Hospital”) that will be located at 5360 W Creole Hwy, Cameron, LA 70631. The equipment will be needed until the repairs are completed to the Creole permanent hospital facility.
 
           The equipment must meet current code requirements for acute care hospital facilities in Louisiana, as governed by all Louisiana laws and regulations including those established by the Louisiana Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
 
The Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is available in electronic form and may be obtained from www.centralbidding.com, beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 31, 2022.
 
Issuance of the RFP in no way constitutes a commitment by the District to enter into an agreement with a proposer.  The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted, or to cancel this RFP if the District determines, in its sole discretion, such proposals do not have a positive effect on the economic situation or efficiency of the District or the future delivery of healthcare services in Cameron Parish.
