NOTICE TO BIDDERS
 
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of Horn Lake will receive bids for the construction of the City of Horn Lake Animal Shelter in the following manner: 
 
BID FILE NO: 02:2024 New Horn Lake Animal Shelter
 
Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 16, 2024, in sealed envelopes at the City Clerk office, 3101 Goodman Road, Horn Lake, Mississippi, or by electronic bid submission. Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
 
Bid opening will be held electronically and in person on Tuesday,  April 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.. All bids will be opened and read aloud immediately following the deadline for receipt of bids.
 
Bidding Documents are on file at City Hall, Horn Lake, MS, during normal business hours. Bidding Documents may be obtained from Central Bidding. All bids must comply with the plans, specifications, and Bidding Documents. The City reserves the right to amend the bidding documents, as necessary, and agrees to notify all having requested bid packets.
 
All bids must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the bid envelopes as instructed in the bid package and delivered to the Office of the City Clerk at the above address or electronic bids submitted at www.centralbidding.com.
 
A Pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time via Go-To-Meeting”. Attendance at the Pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Contact Michael Barnard by email at [email protected] to receive the meeting invitation and link for virtual meeting.
 
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen reserve the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities. All bids must remain open and may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the date of opening thereof. A bid bond or certified check payable to the City in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount is required.
