ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed or electronic bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, until 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Monroe County Chancery Building at 201 West Commerce Street, Aberdeen, MS 39730 for the Roof Replacement / Repairs to the Prairie RCDC building (formerly Prairie Elementary School) located on Hwy 382 in Prairie, Mississippi.

Interested bidders should contact Bob Prisock at 662-646-0895, to arrange a time to inspect the RCDC building prior to submitting a bid.

Proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contract, but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-performance bond in the form and amount within the time specified.

All bids submitted must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the bid envelope "RCDC roof repairs sealed bid to be opened March 22, 2024”.

Sealed bids must be filed with the Clerk of the Board or by electronic submission on or before said bid time.  The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
