NOTICE TO BIDDERS
LEESVILLE AIRPORT will receive sealed bids for the NORTH RAMP TAXIWAY & DRAINAGE project at the LEESVILLE AIRPORT, 424 Airport Rd, LA 71446, until
July 21, 2022, @ 11:00 a.m. CST, at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted.
Please be advised if bids are sent via FedEx or UPS, that adequate lead time is given to receive packages with respect to the time deadline of responsive bids.
The project consists of constructing a taxilane and apron system along with support infrastructure to a proposed T-Hangar facility. The pavement area that will be constructed as a result of this project is approximately 4,350 Sq Yds. This project will serve a future T-Hangar to be constructed in a separate Phase.
Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.
No bid may be withdrawn after bid opening for a period of Sixty (60) calendar days.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the LEESVILLE AIRPORT Conference Room on Thursday, July 14, 2022, @ 11:00 a.m. CST. The Conference will be virtually available via Teams, a link will be provided upon request. Questions relating to the Contract and Contract Documents will be answered at that time. Attendance by prospective Contractors is encouraged.

Leesville Municipal Airport reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids and to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interest.
