Bids are invited for the furnishing of materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to construct a means of Hurricane Mitigation along the south side of Highway 90, connecting to and south of the existing seawall at the locations described. The work will involve constructing a concrete pathway, matching the top elevation of the existing seawall, in widths ranging from 7.5 feet to 12 feet with an 18” high, 12 inch wide concrete knee wall, constructed on top of and along the south edge of the pathway. These Hurricane Mitigation Improvements are intended to be constructed on top of and connected to the existing concrete seawall. The work will be constructed at the following locations: from the west side of the Small Craft Harbor to Pine Avenue and from the east harbor to Donlin Avenue.
