REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Historic Tax Credit & Architectural Services
RFP NUMBER: 24-001
 
The Jackson Redevelopment Authority (JRA) hereby gives notice that it is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Historic Tax Credit Consulting and Architectural Services. The selected firm will assist JRA in preserving and revitalizing historic properties within the Farish Street Historic District and other JRA-owned assets. This partnership will support JRA’s mission of fostering economic and community development through the adaptive reuse of historic buildings and the advancement of urban renewal initiatives within the City of Jackson.
 
Submission Deadline:
Sealed proposals will be received by the Jackson Redevelopment Authority no later than 12:00 PM Central Time on January 31, 2025.

Christopher 5.1, item 4 notes Based on our site walk on Friday, I understand that this pricing is somewhat generic and mainly intended for overall owner budgeting purposes. It is important to note that we cannot provide a detailed cost analysis until a team has been selected and the consultants have had sufficient time to formally assess each of the buildings. The preliminary cost assumptions will primarily involve cost per square foot for the roof, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), structural, and architectural renovations. Is this correct?

A preliminary cost assumptions based on per square foot for the roof, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), structural, and architectural renovations is acceptable however, historic tax credit consulting services must also be included in the price.
