Date and Time of Bid Opening: Sealed bids will be received by the St. Martin Parish Government before 2:00 P.M. DST, July 11, 2017, for the following:

NEW PARKING LOT FOR COURTHOUSE EMPLOYEES

Delivery of Bids: Deliver bids to the St. Martin Parish Government Offices Building, at 301 W. Port Street, St. Martinville, LA 70582. Bids will, shortly thereafter, be opened and read
aloud. Bids received after the above specified time for opening shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened to the sender.

Electronic Bidding: In accordance with Louisiana RS 38:2212, vendors may submit their bid electronically at www.centralauctionhouse.com. Plans and specifications are available on the web site. The web site is available 24 hours a day seven days a week. Contractors submitting bids electronically are required to provide the same documents as contractors submitting through the mail or hand delivery. Regardless of the bid results, the vendor will have 48 hours from opening of the bids to provide the St. Martin Parish Governmen the original documents. If a certified check, or cashier’s check, is submitted as the bid security, electronic copies of both the front and back of the check shall be included with the electronic bid. If a vendor fails to provide the original hard copies of these documents within 48 hours of the bid opening, their bid shall be considered non responsive.

Project Description:
New concrete parking lot for courthouse employees:

De-grass existing lot; Site Grading for drainage; new concrete parking lot with surface drainage; concrete wheel stops; associated handicap parking signs; parking lot signs; security lighting; relocating existing utility pole; new side walks; landscaping;

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 120 East Berard Street Street, St. Martinville, Louisiana
70582 (Project Site).
