REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
STANDBY CONTRACT FOR DISASTER DEBRIS MONITORING SERVICES
RANKIN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services for a period of five (5) years with three (3) subsequent one (1) year renewals possible. It is the intent of this solicitation to enter into a pre-event contract, which would result in no immediate cost to the county. The county reserves the right to enter into a cooperative agreement with any political subdivision within the boundaries of the county, and as such, give the right of said agencies to utilize the contract with the awarded Contractor. This solicitation will result in the selection of an experienced firm to monitor and report all activities associated with the removal and disposal of disaster-generated debris from public property and public rights-of-way following a disaster. Services shall include, but are not limited to, monitoring and reporting on debris removal activities, separation, staging, and disposal; demolition work, construction and demolition debris removal; hazardous waste handling; stump removal; debris removal from roads, streets, and rights-of-way.
Packages submitted in response to this Request for Proposal must be delivered to and received by Rankin County by or before 3:00 p.m. (CT) on Friday, August 23, 2024. Any packages received after this deadline will be deemed unresponsive and shall be returned to the addressee unopened.
RFP Respondents must submit RFP Packages in a SEALED envelope/container and clearly marked on the exterior of the package: “DISASTER DEBRIS MONITORING SERVICES”
