Advertisement for Bids                  
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) Purchasing Department, 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508 for the following as delineated on the Proposal Form:
 
Bids will be marked as follows:
 
                        Risograph Machines
                        Bid #54-20
                        Opening:  February 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. C.S.T.
 
The bid #54-20 is to procure risograph machines that are used when teachers or school staff need to make a large number of copies.  Risographs are used in the Lafayette Parish schools for letters that need to go home to parents, to make class sets of certain documents, fundraising materials, weekly newsletters, etc.  Anything that a school needs to copy can be accomplished at an inexpensive rate compared to a regular copy machine.  The risograph machine will make a master and then just replicate that master.
 
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above stated time and date in the Business Services Conference Room of the Lafayette Parish School System Office Building.
 
Complete bidding documents may be obtained on the Purchasing Department website at https://www.lpssonline.com/site638.php.  Bid information may also be viewed online, and electronic bids may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com. Specifications will be available Friday January 17, 2020.
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.  In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (a)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this section, those stated in the Advertisement for Bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be waived by any public entity.
 
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services.  To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
