The
Mississippi State Port Authority at Gulfport (MSPA) is seeking the services of a Consultant to assist the MSPA with
Planning Support Services for the Port of Gulfport. To further improve the Port’s involvement in maritime, Department of Defense, non-maritime and commercial successes, the MSPA is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms interested in assisting the Port in its plan for economic development, financial growth and long-term stability opportunities at the Port of Gulfport. The selected team will assist the Port in the following areas:
- Developing detailed construction project scopes that align with MSPA’s Strategic Master Plan, and environmental permits.
- Developing a phased Capital Improvement Plan that aligns with the Port’s Strategic Master Plan and environmental permits.
- Provide cost estimates and independent fees estimates on engineering proposals.
- Assist the Port with developing a grant schedule, prepare grant application submittals, assist with grant writing, and provide necessary studies/analysis related to CIP funding.
- Providing necessary studies or analysis to support the growth and sustainability of the Port’s Operations.
- Annual updates to the Port’s Strategic Master Plan.
- Supporting the Port’s efforts towards deepening and widening the federal navigation channel.
The MSPA will receive proposals from Consultants having specific experience and qualifications in the areas identified in the solicitation. For consideration, proposals for these services must contain evidence of the Consultant’s experience and abilities in the specified areas and other disciplines directly related to the proposed services.
