REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Request for qualifications will be received by the Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 East Worthey St., Gonzales, LA 70737 until May 9, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. (CST) for the following:

Lamar Dixon Gym Leak Remediation

STATEMENT OF WORK
Ascension Parish Government Recreation Department (Parish) is seeking an architectural design and/or engineering services team to assess existing building and infrastructure and to define and design repairs needed to remediate moisture intrusion/condensation problems at the Ascension Gymnasium located on the grounds of the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, LA.
 
Examples of areas include but are not limited to:

1. Demolition as necessary
2. New roofing
3. Insulation
4. Interior and exterior walls
5. Window inspections/repair/replacement
6. New sport court installation/surfacing
7. Foundation
8. Drainage
9. Mechanical and electrical equipment inspection and assessment

In addition to assessment and inspection of existing buildings, design team would develop design and construction documents for all repairs of existing problems and renovations to building including new roof and sport court surface.  Design firm to provide construction administration services during construction process and assist Parish Project Manager in answering questions submitted from contractors.

All questions regarding the RFQ shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via email at [email protected] by 3:00 p.m. local time (CST) on April 23, 2024. Responses will be coordinated with the Project Coordinator and posted on the www.centralauctionhouse.com by 3:00 p.m. local time (CST) on April 30, 2024.

The Parish reserves the right to disqualify any bid, request for quotes, response to a request for qualifications, or request for proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.

Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject all proposals for just cause.
