PUBLIC NOTICE – Invitation for Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for a New Replacement of Lafayette High School

The Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from highly qualified Construction Management firms interested in providing Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for:
New Replacement of Lafayette High School

OPTION #1 - The Lafayette Parish School Board desires to design a new replacement of the existing   Lafayette High School. Located at 3000 W Congress Street, Lafayette Louisiana 70506 (the existing school’s property). The Design and Construction team will need to propose a phased design that allows for new construction on an occupied site.
 
OPTION #2  - The Lafayette Parish School Board desires to design a new replacement on a greenspace property with a location to be determined.

Only those firms that have obtained the official SOQ package for this solicitation from the Lafayette Parish School Board will be considered by the LPSB Selection Committee.
The original and SIX (6) copies of the SOQ, per Section 4 of the SOQ dated September 03, 2021 shall be delivered to the Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) at the Office of Purchasing, 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508.

The SOQ submissions for this project will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 04, 2021.

SOQ submissions that have not been received by the aforementioned deadline date and time will be rejected. Additionally, failure to submit all of the information stipulated per Section 4 – Response Instructions of the SOQ, dated September 03, 2021, shall be considered non?responsive and will result in the SOQ submission being rejected.
A Mandatory Pre?Proposal Conference will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508 in the Board Room. All firms interested in submitting a SOQ in response to the RFP are required to attend. SOQ’s submitted by firms who do not attend the Mandatory Pre?Proposal Conference will be rejected.
SOQ Respondents, their consultants, sub?consultants, or other parties representing the proposed team for this solicitation may not contact any LPSB CMAR Selection Committee members concerning this project from the date of the solicitation until after the date of the selection.
LPSB and the LPSB CMAR Selection Committee, reserve the right to reject any or all timely submitted SOQs in response to this SOQ for just cause and waive any information with any proposals received.
