NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 
 
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the St. James Parish Government until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022, in the Convent Council Chambers, 5800 LA Highway 44, Convent, Louisiana, on the 2nd floor for:
 
AUTOMATED COLLECTION AND TRANSPORTATION OF RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE INST. JAMES PARISH, LOUISIANA
 
 
at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. Proposals received after the above specified time will not be considered.
 
 
The service covered by the Contract is for the curbside collection and transportation of residential solid waste material and refuse from qualifying residential and small commercial units located within the Parish, including the Towns of Gramercy and Lutcher.
 
 
Specifications and forms of the Contract Documents may be obtained in the Operations Office, 5800 LA Highway 44, Convent, Louisiana on the 3rd Floor. Explanations, interpretations, or clarifications must be requested in writing to the Operations Office, P. O. Box 106, Convent, Louisiana 70723 by 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2022
 
No Contractor may withdraw his proposal for at least sixty (60) days after the time scheduled for the opening of proposals. Each proposal shall be submitted only on the Contractor’s Proposal Forms.
 
 
Interested Contractors to the above-mentioned subject are urged to attend a Pre-Submission Conference on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Convent Council Chambers, 5800 LA Highway 44, Convent, Louisiana on the 2nd floor.
 
The St. James Parish Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
