FOOD SERVICE OPERATIONS
Request for Proposals (RFP) will be received by the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 East Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 until November 10, 2022 @ 3:00 PM local time for the following:
The Lamar-Dixon Expo Center seeks to award food service operations including concession, catering, and, in the event of a declared emergency, emergency food services.
The vendor must be able to provide catering food services for any size event and, in the event of a declared emergency, emergency food services to all entities and agencies staging at Lamar-Dixon Expo Center. Vendor shall provide a variety of catering menu options.
Some locations require the vendor to provide self-contained unit (s) for serving customers, which will be referred to as “self-contained locations.” The firm (s) selected, based on the written proposal and interview process as the best qualified vendor for the services herein described, will be requested to enter into contract negotiations with the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center.

Businesses and Firms who are interested in providing services requested under this RFP must submit one (1) signed unbounded original and seven (7) bound copies of qualifications by the date and time specified. The information shall be received in hard copy (printed) version. Failure to submit the required number of copies may result in a finding of non-conformance. Originals should be clearly marked.
Specifications/Proposal documents may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Office, 615 East Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Electronic Request for Proposals are accepted at Central Bidding, http://www.centralauctionhouse.com. For questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. All addenda, corrections, and responses to this public notice shall be posted to http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.
All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via [email protected] by 4:00 PM on October 28, 2022. Responses will be coordinated with the RFP Coordinator and posted on the http://www.centralauctionshouse.com by 4:00 PM on November 3, 2022.
The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit an RFP due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet.
The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any responses to Bids, Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals for just cause.
