REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Ascension Parish Government Office of Emergency Planning is soliciting sealed proposals for Emergency Debris Removal for Natural Disaster(s). The Responsible Respondent must meet all required qualifications and specifications of this Request for Proposal in accordance with The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Administrative Requirements, Compliances and Regulations.
Request for Proposals will be received by the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) until November 02, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. (CST) for the following:

The above Request for Proposals must meet 2 CFR 200. Administrative Requirements for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to State, Local and Federally Recognized Indian Tribal Governments Procurement §85.36.
Respondent must also be able to provide emergency debris removal from local and private roadways within the Parish of Ascension. The contractor shall provide all services described herein and any other services required to complete the project. Activities include, but are not limited to, field operations, debris pickup, debris hauling and removing, debris staging and reduction, temporary debris storage site management and debris management.
Specifications may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Office located at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Qualifications, Proposals, and Bids can be submitted on-line at http://www.centralauctionhouse.com. Specifications and support documents can also be viewed and downloaded at http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.
Firms or Consultants who are interested in providing services requested under this RFP must submit one (1) bounded original and six (6) copies of proposals by the date and time specified. The information shall be received in hard copy printed version. Failure to submit the required number of copies may result in a finding of non-conformance. Originals should be clearly marked.
All questions should be submitted within seven (7) days of 1st publication.
Written inquiries must be received by 3:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. As specified in the Schedule of Events.
Official responses to all questions submitted by potential respondents will be available on or by October 17, 2023 by 3:00pm CST, and will be posted to http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.
The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit an RFP due to failure or incomplete delivery of the submitted via the internet.
The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
