LEGAL NOTICE

    NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, will at 9:00 o’clock A.M., on the 2nd day of November, 2020, at the Monroe County Chancery Building, Aberdeen, Mississippi, receive sealed or electronic bids and award contracts to the lowest responsible bidder for furnishing materials and services to Monroe County, Mississippi, for the period beginning the first Monday in November, 2020, and ending the first Monday in November, 2021, as follows:


      1.  Highway Striping – including skip yellow, continuous white,

          continuous yellow and detail traffic stripe


    2.  Soil cement, mixed and compacted in place on County roads and 

          related projects

    3.  Contract services for Slurry Seal, Scrub Seal, Fog Seal, and Micro 

          Seal on County roads


    NOTE that Items 2 & 3 should be priced by the square yard.


    ALL work is to be performed according to the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction, 2004 Edition.

    SEALED bids must be filed with the Clerk of the Board or by electronic submission on or before said bid time.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
