DISPOSING OF SURPLUS BUILDING
 
As the duly elected Sheriff of St. John the Baptist Parish, I, Mike Tregre, hereby declare the following property as surplus to the needs of the public.  It is my intention to sell this surplus property by accepting bids until 2pm on January 9, 2025 with the minimum sale price set at the appraised value of the property.  The property to be sold is as follows:
 
812 Walnut Street, LaPlace, LA  70068, appraised at $400,000. 
This declaration is made for the purpose pf notifying the public of the intended sale with the goal of returning the listed property to commerce.  Interested parties can contact Chief Civil Deputy Jeffrey Clement between hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at 985-652-9513 or by email at [email protected] to set up a date and time to view the building.
