ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

COUNTY OF MONROE

SEALED OR ELECTRONIC BIDS will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, until 9:00 A.M. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Monroe County Chancery Building in the City of Aberdeen, Mississippi, for the purchase for cash of the following road department equipment for use by Monroe County, Mississippi:


One (1) or More New 2024 Model Year Single Axle Day Cab Class 7
Straight Truck Chassis Equipped with a 9/10-yard Dump Body
per specifications on file at the office of the Chancery Clerk in the
City of Aberdeen, 201 West Commerce or Post Office Box 578, Aberdeen,
Mississippi 39730 (662-369-8143).  Please direct any questions
concerning same to Daniel Williams or Jay Barnes with the Monroe County
Road Department (662-369-2509).


With trade-ins of the following Dump Trucks:  
One 2014 Mack Granite MHD Ox Body Dump S/N 1M2AX34C2EM010076;
One 2014 Mack Granite MHD Ox Body Dump S/N 1M2AX34C6EM010095;
One 2017 Mack Granite MHD Ox Body Dump S/N 1M2AX34C9HM010726;
One 2017 Mack Granite MHD Ox Body Dump S/N 1M2AX34C1HM010736;
One 2017 Mack Granite MHD Ox Body Dump S/N 1M2AX34C0HM010727.

Sealed bids should be mailed or hand-delivered to Monroe County Chancery Clerk, P. O. Box 578, 201 West Commerce Street, Aberdeen, Mississippi 39730 or by electronic bid submission at www.centralbidding.com, according to specifications on file with the Clerk of the Board and online at www.centralbidding.com.  Bidders may download official bid documents from CENTRAL BIDDING at www.centralbidding.com.  Any questions relating to the electronic bidding process should be directed to Central Bidding at 1-225-810-4814.
The Board of Supervisors deems the following information of value, and consideration will be given to the same, and each bidder must (1) state the full warranty on the equipment item being bid on; (2) state the location for the performance of said warranty and maintenance repairs and the hours in which said work would be performed; and (3) state delivery date of the equipment, as time is of the essence, with delivery of said equipment to be F.O.B., Monroe County Road Department, 101 Hwy 8 West, Aberdeen, Mississippi.
Bid envelopes must be clearly marked “Dump Truck(s) bid to be opened July 21, 2023.”
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
