Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System by the Purchasing Department located at 202 Rue Iberville Lafayette, LA 70508. Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.
 
Sealed proposals will be received until May 22, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. CST for:
                       
                        Voluntary Benefits and Administrative Services
                        RFP #62-23
                       
 
The RFP #62-23 is to obtain a proposal from a qualified firm to provide voluntary payroll benefits and administrative services to the employees of LPSS.  Proposals must provide a straightforward and concise presentation, adequate to satisfy the requirements of the RFP. Emphasis should be on completeness, clarity of contents, and responsiveness to the RFP. 
 
A Request for Proposal package may be obtained on the Purchasing Department website at https://www.lpssonline.com/departments/business-services/purchasing under ‘Bid Specifications’.  Bid information may also be viewed online, and electronic bids may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
 
On May 22, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. CST, only the name of the proposal respondents will be read aloud in a LPSS Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services.  To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
