NOTICE TO BIDDERS
 
PEARL RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
PORTLAND CEMENT MATERIAL and ROADBED RECLAMATION– 2022
COUNTY WIDE (VARIOUS ROADS)
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS
 
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Pearl River County at the County Administrator’s Office, 109 West Pearl Street in Poplarville, Mississippi until 10:00 o’clock A.M., local time, April 5, 2022, and shortly thereafter publicly opened for:
 
Unit price bids for Roadbed Reclamation as well as Portland cement material will be received (both delivered and F.O.B.), for application on various county roads in Pearl River County, MS.
 
Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call 225-810-4814.
 
A quotation packet is on file in the office of the Pearl River County Chancery Clerk, Poplarville, Mississippi.  A quotation packet may be secured from the office of Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466 or can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Project details and documents may also be viewed on the County Engineer’s website located at dunganeng.com.
 
The successful bidder will be determined by the lowest unit price of each item. However, the Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject all bids.
 
A certificate of liability insurance will be required of the successful bidder ($1,000,000.00 aggregate).
 
Attention is called to the fact that contracts exceeding $50,000 require contractors to be licensed under applicable laws of the State of Mississippi and have a certificate of responsibility.
 
The award, if made will be to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of the lowest unit price of each item.
