REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received on?line at www.centralauctionhouse.com and at the Vermilion Parish Police Jury, 100 North State Street, Suite 200, Abbeville, LA 70510 until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2022, for:
 
PRE?POSITIONED DISASTER DEBRIS REMOVAL CONTRACT
FOR THE
VERMILION PARISH POLICE JURY
 
Proposals received after the specified time will not be considered.
 
The Service Shall Consist of Segregating, Removing, Hauling, and Disposal of All Eligible Construction and Demolition Debris, Regulated Asbestos Containing Material, Household Hazardous Waste Debris, White Goods Debris, Electronic Waste Debris, Small Engine Equipment, and Debris From Drainage Ways Within All Road Rights?of?Way and Public Areas Within Unincorporated Areas of Vermilion Parish, the Cities of Abbeville and Kaplan, the Towns of Delcambre (the portion within Vermilion Parish), Erath, Gueydan, and Maurice (Excluding State Highways), as a Result of Declared Disasters.
 
1.      BID BOND: A Bid Guarantee in the amount of $1,000.00, made payable to the Vermilion Parish Police Jury, consisting of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument, shall accompany each proposal as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his proposal, execute such contractual documents as may be required and within the time specified.
 
Only the Proposals of Those Qualified in Debris Removal Management and Operations Will Be Considered. The Proposers shall be able to provide a list of previous similar projects with references where he has provided such services, when requested. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received and to award said proposals in the best interest of the Owner.
 
The contract documents, consisting of the Request for Proposals, Information for Proposers, General Conditions, FEMA Provisions, Technical Specifications, Special Conditions, Proposal Form and Contract Documents, and any published Addenda, may be examined and obtained on all business days at the following locations during the specified hours: Sellers & Associates, Inc., 148?B Easy Street, Lafayette, LA 70506-3095, Office Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
