Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Richland Creek WMA Phase 4 Wetland Enhancements Project. We are having a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17th. We will meet at the gate for the Carl Frentress Unit of Richland Creek WMA off Hwy 287 in Freestone County, TX 75148 (31°58'19.60"N; 96° 4'59.9"W).
 
 
The Richland Creek Phase IV Wetland Enhancements project consists of the construction of 825 linear feet of new levee, the supply and installation of 2-48” corrugated aluminum pipes (212 linear feet) with 2-60” aluminum risers. Additionally, the levees are to be capped with a total of 3,837 tons of rock riprap and 441 tons of surface aggregate. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, excavation, water control, pollution control, seeding, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Contract completion time is 90 calendar days.
