The Owner, Natchez Housing Authority will receive Sealed Bids for Interior Build-Out at Cedars Apartments Units A4, B7 & B8, at the offices of the Natchez Housing Authority, 2 Auburn Ave., Natchez MS 39120, until 2:00 p.m. CST on November 21, 2024. At this time and place all bids will be publicly opened, read aloud and then taken under advisement.

[email protected] or requested by telephone: 601-442-3649 voice, upon deposit of $100.00 per set. The first two sets are refundable, additional sets are nonrefundable. Sets remain the property of the Architect with deposit(s) refundable to general contractors submitting bona fide bids, one half of deposit amount is refundable to all others, provided documents are returned in good condition within 10 working days of bid date. Bid preparation and submittal will be in accordance with Form HUD-5369 Instructions to Bidders for Contracts Public and Indian Housing Programs bound in the Project Manual. Bid Bond Security/Guarantee in the amount of 5% of total bid will be required in Contracts exceeding $25,000. 100% Performance and Payment Bond will be required. Licensing and other certification of qualifications will be required as specified in the contract documents. Where applicable, the foregoing certificate number must be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope before it will be opened.
This project is subject to HUD Section 3 regulations, which require the contractor to make maximum efforts to provide employment and contracting opportunities to low- and very low-income persons and businesses. Preference will be shown to Section 3 qualified bidders.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents will be paid on the project, and the contractor, must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
The bidder is advised that the proposed project is financed with funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and that contract conditions are determined by provisions associated therewith.
All bids submitted must comply with Section 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972.
Bids may be withheld by the Owner for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of bid review and investigation of the bidder's qualifications, prior to award of the contract.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure without obligation to or notification of any bidders.
