The Board of Trustees of the Pass Christian Public School District will conduct a Reverse Auction for the purchase and delivery of One-to-One Instructional Technology Solutions.  The electronic reverse auction will begin at 2:00 pm CST on Friday, February 10, 2023 at www.centralbidding.com and continue until 3:00 pm CST unless extended by anti-sniping protocols which will be in use.  Anti-sniping is a tool that automatically extends the bid time for reverse auctions by five (5) minutes if a vendor places a bid in the final five minutes of the reverse auction.  The Reverse Auction can auto-extend multiple times until the bidding on the reverse auction ends.
 

The primary, and preferred,  method of receiving bid proposals is through www.centralbidding.com.  However, initial sealed bid proposals may also be hand delivered or mailed to 6457 Kiln-DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.   All sealed bids shall have the bid title, company name & address information, and date and time of bid opening clearly indicated on the outside of the sealed envelope.  Submittals without this information may be rejected. Sealed Bids submitted in either of these manners will be opened at 2 pm CST and the bid amounts will be entered/listed at the beginning of the reverse auction.  Pass Christian Public School District will not be responsible for any submission delivery being delayed for any reason.

• Are devices tested to military specifications (MIL-SPEC)? • How does the manufacturer ensure component consistency for the lifespan of the product? • How does the manufacturer manage supply disruptions given current market conditions? • Does the manufacturer maintain (and can provide) ISO or other industry certifications related to green initiatives? • Are devices shipped with minimal packaging and waste? • Can the district purchase AR devices that are produced by the same OEM as the notebooks, tablets and desktops?

On line 11 Professional Development specification, please define the number of days, hours, and participants of professional development. Is this onsite or remote? Is this a one topic device training for everyone?

Devices are not required to be tested to military specifications. "Component consistency" and "manage supply disruptions" are not applicable to these bid specifications. Industry certifications related to green initiatives are not required in the bid specifications. There are no requirements for packaging and waste. AR devices may be included, at the bidders expense, in the devices proposed but actual AR devices are not included in the bid specifications. The district may purchase AR devices at a later time but is not obligated to purchase from the OEM vendor.

Approved bidders will submit one price for the entire bid package. A priced bid proposal will be issued to approved bidders to reflect the quantities and unit cost of items. We will not accept partial proposals.

Regarding Professional Development: Bidders should include in their unpriced proposals the training services they provide but must include basic use of each technology device and how the devices can be used to support the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards and the 21st Century Learning Skills in order to better prepare students for college, career, and life. The professional development may include embedded, onsite, virtual, etc… Approved bidders will be asked to include 10 days of on-site professional training in their priced bid responses. These days will be scheduled between the successful bidder and the district. Approved bidders will also be asked to provide their daily rate for on-site professional development training that the district may elect to provide, at the additional daily rate, over the next 3 years.
