CITY OF PLAQUEMINE
BID NOTICE
 
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Plaquemine at the Utility Director’s Office, 58190 W.W. Harleaux St., Plaquemine, LA, until June 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud the same day at 11:00 a.m. for the following:
Cane Estates – Electric Material Only
(Conductors, Wire, Conduit, Connectors, Transformers, Street Lights and other miscellaneous material)
 
Detail Description Included in Spec Sheet: Examples Include –
4,800 ft 15kv #1/0 Aluminum, single phase underground power cable insulated with EPR, with full concentric neutral and insulating jacket overall. Insulation thickness shall be 220 mils.
4,150 ft 2” Sechedule 40, PVC electric conduit with integral coupling, 90(degree)C, Carton Plus 40 or equal. (Primary)
7 - 50kVA, single Phase 7.62kV – 120/240V, Pad Mounted Transformer, ANSI Type 1. 
Specifications/bidding documents may be obtained at the City of Plaquemine, Utility Director’s office located at 58190 W.W. Harleaux St, Plaquemine, LA  70764. Electronic Bids are accepted at Central Bidding http://centralauctionhouse.com. For questions related to electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at (225) 810-4814.  All addenda, corrections, and responses to this public notice shall be posted to http://centralauctionhouse.com. 
It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to assure that their bid arrives at the proper location by the time indicated. Late bids, telegrams, facsimile, or telephone bids will not be considered.
Please note the City of Plaquemine Utility Director’s Office Work Hours:
Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
 
The City of Plaquemine reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
The City of Plaquemine reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
