NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Natchez, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, 124 South Pearl St., Natchez, MS 39120 (601-445-7507), for the furnishing of all labor and materials and performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the Downtown Pavement Repairs and Improvement Project. The work in this project consists generally of asphalt base failure repair and milling and overlay of select downtown streets. All other related items of work required to complete the project are shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The City of Natchez will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, August 8, 2024, and thereafter publicly opened, read aloud, and taken under advisement until the next meeting of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen.  Funding for this project is provided by the City of Natchez. A Pre-Bid meeting will not be held for this project.
The Contract Time will be sixty (60) consecutive calendar days.  Liquidated damages will be $250 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
