Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00am on August 6, 2021 at the office of the Architect, Champeaux Evans Hotard, APAC, 702 Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive, Lake Charles, La. 70601. 
 
Bidders may obtain a copy of the bidding documents from centralauctionhouse.com OR by contacting the Architect.
 
Bids may be submitted in person to the office of the Architect or submitted online to centralauctionhouse.com
 
A Bid Bond will be required.
 
A “Performance and Payment Bond” will be required to be executed in conjunction with the Contract in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid.  The Performance and Payment Bond shall be issued by an AAA rated insurance company.
 
Builder’s Risk Insurance shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.
 
The Contract Time, based on calendar days, will be 60 Days.  A written “Notice to Proceed” will be issued by the Architect to begin the Contract Time and will stipulate the Contract Completion Date.  The Contract Completion Date will be extended only by a written Change Order, for weather or other delays, as allowed by the Contract Documents, or for Changes to the Scope of Work, as recommended by the Architect, and duly executed by the Owner and Contractor. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $500.00 for every calendar day beyond the stipulated Contract Completion Date.
