ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

County of Monroe
Sealed or electronic bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, until 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Monroe County Chancery Building at 201 West Commerce Street, Aberdeen, MS 39730 for the purchase of four (4) E911 dispatch station desks. The bidder must deliver the desks to the Monroe County E911 Center and assemble / setup the desks and ensure they are in working order. Bidders must be an authorized reseller/installer within a 50-mile radius of Monroe County E911 Center located at 50058 Airport Rd., Aberdeen, MS to provide on-site response and warranty claims. Specifications on the dispatch station desks can be downloaded from Central Bidding or obtained by sending email request to
[email protected].
Proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contract, but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-performance bond in the form and amount within the time specified.
All bids submitted must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the bid envelope "E911 Dispatch Station Desks sealed bid to be opened January 24, 2025”.

Sealed bids must be filed with the Clerk of the Board or by electronic submission on or before said bid time. The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
