Sealed Bid or Electronic Bids Due Date: Sealed Bids will be accepted until 09:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Office of the Simpson County Board of Supervisors in the Simpson County Chancery Building at 111 West Pine Ave., Mendenhall, MS 39114 or P.O. Box 308, Mendenhall, MS 39114. Electronic Bids will be accepted until 09:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at www.centralbidding.com.
Final Bid Approval Date: Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Simpson County Board of Supervisors Meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Board of Supervisors Board Room at 111 West Pine Ave., Mendenhall, MS.
SEALED BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR:
Two (2), 2025 or newer, new and unused, Tandem Axle Dump Trucks with Guaranteed Buyback

The officials of the county reserve the right to accept the bid they deem is in the lowest and best interest of the county. The buyer will be the final authority in determining compliance with the specifications.
Bids shall be sealed and the outside envelope shall be clearly marked “Tandem Axle Dump Trucks with Guaranteed Buyback Bid due at 9:00 a.m. on December 11, 2024”. The award will be made to the lowest and best responsible bidder meeting the requirements of the specifications in accordance with Section 31-7-13, Miss. Code of 1972, Ann. The buyer will not be responsible for bids opened in error, which are incorrectly or inadequately marked.
All bids must comply with the specifications provided. Simpson County reserves the right to amend the specifications, as necessary, and agrees to notify all having requested bid packets from Central Bidding or Simpson County Board of Supervisors.
The buyer reserves the right to reject any and all bids with or without cause.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days. Bid price shall be valid for 6 months after bid acceptance. All documents and bid forms required by the specifications shall be submitted in the original bids. No additions or modifications will be allowed after the bids are opened.
