Invitation to Bid
The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office is accepting bids for one new Bunk/Command Trailer meeting the specifications below, or equivalent:
1. New Bunk/Command Trailer 44ft Gooseneck or 5th wheel Trailer hookup with
A. Steel subframe assembly, with undercoating
B. Wheels below floor
C. Emergency trailer break away system
D. Regular size spare tire
E. Rear door that can be lowered as a ramp.
F. 6-point auto stabilizer system
2. Bunks to sleep 8 people and the bunks fold up to provide for storing equipment or small vehicle.
A. Custom made frame, easy assemble with a mattress and access ladder for top bunk
B. Electrical service power drops, 110 outlets located at each bunk with dual USB at each bunk
C. Adjustable angle recessed light with dimmer over each bunk
3. Small complete kitchen to include the following: stove and microwave, small refrigerator, sink, eating area and a small wall mounted monitor.
4. Small bath/shower area to include a toilet, sink and full shower.
A. Water heater
5. Small command area in the front of the trailer for laptops and cell phones (to include cell phone, electrical sockets, USB ports, and a cell phone booster). Medium size white board, and a 55-inch color monitor.
6. Compact washer and dryer near the restroom in a closet and accessible from inside the trailer. Connected to water system.
7. Two outside doors with lighting at each door. LED
A. two (2) on streetside of the vehicle
B. one (1) rear for loading and unloading
C. two (2) curbside for lighting entrance area
8, Over size automatic awning.
9. Generator large enough to run all above listed components. At least 30KW- EPS Diesel tier
10. Water storage and hook up for outside water connections.
A. 100-gallon fresh water tank mounted under the trailer to include
B. Plumbing supplies, with connections to the kitchen sink, shower and restroom
C. Garden hose style hose water hooks ups
11. Hook ups for outside electrical outlets.
A. Shore power 100A 5oft 4 wire 240V, trailer to accept power from the building or outside generator power source.
Additional equipment that may be needed that is not listed.
12. 44ft rubber coin tile floor mat installation throughout the trailer with easy cleaning surface, to include a drain in the
center of the floor area.
13. Roof Top Air condition and heating system (15K BTU with heat strip) for the three separate sections
(sleeping/kitchen-shower and command area)
14. Interior uplift
A. 44 ft interior walls carpet (white)
B. Office chairs adjustable with mesh back (5)
C. Work/Dining table
D. Overhead cabinets (18” high, 11” deep, 36” Wide (white)
15. Electrical service
A. DC Battery and Charger
B. Internal emergency lights
C. Interior celling lighting (LED)
D. Breaker panel – 125 amp. Interior breaker panel with a manual slider to switch between shore or onboard
generator power to feed trailer.
16. Communications: Cradle point Router for internet access
17. Winegard SK-1000 sat dish – Direct TV or Dish
18. 125 Gallon waste water tank
19. 39-gallon Diesel fuel tank under gooseneck.
20. Safety Package
A. Fire extinguisher
B. Smoke/carbon monoxide detector in each area
C. First aid kit
D. Safety reflector kit
E. All safety placards for interior and exterior to include unlighted exit sign.
21. The successful bidder must be able to deliver the Bunk/Command Trailer within 90 days.
A. Delivery to customer & Quality Inspection
B. Clean interior and exterior of the trailer
C. Test all functionality
D. Final water testing
Bids will be received at the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Civil Office, 120 South Stewart Street, DeRidder, Louisiana 70634 until 10:00 am, local time on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “SEALED BID FOR BUNK/COMMAND TRAILER” and delivered to the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Civil Office located at 120 South Stewart Street, DeRidder LA, 70634 or mailed to PO Box 370, DeRidder LA, 70634, in time for the bid opening. Bids may also be submitted online at www.Centralbidding.com.
Bidders shall be solely responsible for ensuring that their bids are received on or before the bid opening.
