The Governing Board of the St. Johns River Water Management District (the “District”), requests that interested parties respond to the solicitation below by 2:00 p.m., December 1. Further information is available through DemandStar at Demandstar.com [(800) 711-1712], Vendor Registry at Vendorregistry.com, state of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketPlace.com, Central Bidding at centralbidding.com [(225) 810-4814], or the District’s website at sjrwmd.com. Solicitation packages may be obtained from DemandStar, Vendor Registry, MyFloridaMarketPlace, Central Bidding or the District by calling or emailing Amy Lucey, Procurement Specialist, at 321-409-2156 or [email protected]. Responses will be opened at the Palm Bay Service Center, 525 Community College Parkway SE, Palm Bay FL 32909.
The objective of this project is to stabilize the east side slope of Welland Road, Lake Apopka, Lake County, using a geosynthetic stabilization product. Minimum specifications for the geosynthetic stabilization material are included in the Statement of Work, Attachment A to the form of Agreement herein.
The estimated budget for this project is $200,000. Staff’s recommendation of award will be presented to the District’s Governing Board on January 9, 2024. All construction is expected to be completed by April 30, 2024.
