TWO (2) ROLL OFF TRUCKS, ONE (1) FRONT LOADER,
ONE (1) 22 YD AUTOMATED SIDE LOADER, AND
ONE (1) 24 YD AUTOMATED SIDE LOADER –SOLID WASTE
 
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
 
            THIS DAY there came on for consideration by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, a report from the Sanitation Department of the need to advertise the sale of two (2) roll off trucks, one (1) front loader, one (1) 22 yard automated side loader garbage truck and one (1) 24 yard automated side loader garbage truck, which have been replaced with new units.  The Director of the Sanitation Department recommended advertising for bids.  After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the following notice to bidders be posted in three (3) places at least ten (10) days prior to the sale and published two (2) times in The Panolian, to-wit:
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
            Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, will on the 4th day of March, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., open all sealed competitive bids received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1st, 2019, for the sale to the highest and best bidder for cash, five (5) garbage trucks as follows, to-wit:    
            Two (2) 2017 Western Star Roll Off trucks

            One (1) 2015 Mack Front Loader

            One (1) 2017 Western Star 24 Yard Automated Garbage truck w/Heil Side Loader

            One (1) 2016 Mack 22 Yard Automated Garbage truck w/Heil Side Loader

          Vehicles will be located at the Panola County Transfer Station at Courtland, Mississippi, for inspection.
           
          Sealed, competitive bids must be received in the Office of the Panola County Administrator on or before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1st, 2019.  Bids may be delivered to the Panola County Administrator’s Office, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or mailed to the Panola County Administrator, P.O. Box 807, Batesville, MS 38606 or electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  The items will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash.  The successful bidder will be expected to pay for items on the date of sale.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The property is being offered “as is” without any warranties, except for clear title.
