PEARL RIVER COUNTY UTILITY AUTHORITY
STANDBY CONTRACT FOR UTILITY REPAIRS
The Pearl River County Utility Authority, located in Picayune, Mississippi (hereafter “AUTHORITY”) requests proposals from qualified contractors for making repairs to its water and wastewater infrastructure. This solicitation by the AUTHORITY will result in the selection of an experienced firm (Contractor) to make routine, urgent and emergency repairs, on an as needed basis, within the AUTHORITY’s service areas. The complete RFP may be picked up at the Office of the Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Boulevard, Picayune, Mississippi, 39466, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (local time) Monday thru Friday or the complete RFP can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the Office of Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Boulevard, Picayune, Mississippi, 39466.
To be considered, a firm is to submit an Original and ten (10) copies of its Proposal to the Pearl River County Utility Authority office, located at 100 Street A, Suite F, Picayune, Mississippi, 39466, at or before 2:00 p.m. (local time) Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Submittals received after this time and date will not be considered. Electronic proposals can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. The right and privileges to perform the Services will be awarded to the Respondent determined by the Authority to be best qualified to perform the Services with cost considered. Prior to making award, the Authority may request certain Respondents to make presentations to the Board of the Pearl River County Utility Authority. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals for any reason at any time prior to execution of a contract and to waive any and all informalities and irregularities in the selection process.
