Sealed bids will be accepted and publicly opened for the purposed of providing the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office with an Intercept Whole Body Scanning System, or equal.
Please use the public message board below for any questions or concerns.  This allows for 100% transparency in our process.  Also, please be aware that there will be a site visit scheduled for Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 1100 hours so that any protential bidder will be aware of the transportation, placement, and training issues.  The site visit is not required, but is scheduled to help prevent any possible misinterpretations.

Remember to use the checklist to make sure that all of the information requested is provided in your submission so the award can be timely. Forms are downloaded below. The sealed response envelope should have the company submitting and the bid number (which is #320872) legibly written on the outside. Pre-proposal topics included having a barcode reader included in the package, along with line items for adding costs for disassembling and removal of equipment. There will be approximately 10 individuals that will need to be trained on the equipment along with the need for refresher training videos and a "train the trainer" need. It was also expressed that the bid is the MINIMUM set of needs for this equipment. It has been requested that, although only requested one (2 year) warranty extension, to include information for all warranty options.
