SCHOOL SUPPLIES BID FORM
The Washington Parish School Board will receive sealed bids on School Supplies until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017, the time of bid opening, at the School Board Office, 800 Main Street, P.O. Box 587, Franklinton, Louisiana 70438. Please mark envelope as containing a bid on "School Supplies." Bid related information is also available on line and electronic bids may be submitted on line at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/rfp.php?cid=10074. The contact person at Central Office to arrange for delivery is Mr. Robert Winn, (985)839-3436. He can normally be reached during the day on Monday, Thursday, or Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. On Tuesday or Wednesday, he can normally be reached from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The School Board Office will accept delivery of the supplies on Monday, Thursday, or Friday only, however, PAPER will be shipped to 13 different locations. Please include the appropriate shipping fees in your bid.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid.
The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids in part or as a whole and waive informalities.
BID PRICE SHALL INCLUDE SHIPPING COSTS FOR FRANKLINTON, LOUISIANA.
CURRENTLY THIS SCHOOL BOARD IS EXEMPT FROM ALL SALES TAXES.
ALL REQUIRED SAMPLES ARE TO ARRIVE AT THE SCHOOL BOARD OFFICE, 800 MAIN STREET, P.O. BOX 587, FRANKLINTON, LOUISIANA 70438, NOT LATER THAN 2:00 P.M.,WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, 2017. YOUR BID MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED IF THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT MET.
