bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.

Bids shall be received until 2:00 PM local daylight time on the Tenth day of October 2023 at
Central Office – Meridian Public School District, 1019 – 25th Avenue, Meridian, Mississippi
39301. In addition, Electronic Bids will be received until 2:00 PM local daylight time on the Tenth
day of October 2023 via electronic online bid submission through www.centralbidding.com.
C. Awards based on the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders, Specifications and indicated
on the Drawings. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be reviewed and obtained
from the office of the Architect by contacting Arjen Lagendijk – Architect, PLLC, 2322 Front
Street, Meridian, MS 39301, (601) 482-7303.
D. Bids submitted in duplicate on form provided, accompanied by Bid Security in form of Bid Bond
or Certified Check in the amount of no less than Five percent (5%) of Base Bid. Bids shall be
received on or before time and date stated for opening of Bids and shall be publicly opened and
read; no bid may be withdrawn after opening of bids for a period of Thirty (30) days.
E. Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime contractor or subcontractor must comply with
Sections 31-3-13 (f), Mississippi Code of 1972 as amended by Chapter 505, General Laws of
Mississippi of 1985, by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of
Contractors.
F. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities.
