Listing Information/Advertisement
Properly cap all utility services such as gas, water, sewer, and electricity.  Water line to be removed back to meter.  CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMATION WITH UTILTY SYSTEM(S) REGARDING DISCONNECTION(S). 
DEMOLISH AND REMOVE THE STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 103 Fallbrook Avenue. 
Fill depressions in the lot with topsoil and/or dirt to provide proper drainage. 
The demolition area of lot must be left in a rake-cleaned condition. 
Vendor must have liability insurance - as per standard Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government insurance requirements. (If you have any questions on this, call Suzanne Siner, LCG Risk Manager, at 337-291-8290). 
Vendor must make a visual inspection of demolition project before turning in the demolition bid. 
Work must be completed within ten (10) days of notice to proceed given by the Housing Office.  Do NOT begin until given notice to proceed by the Housing Office. 
DEMOLITION CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT COPIES OF DEQ APPROVED LANDFILL DUMPING CHARGES WITH THEIR WORK INVOICES. 
An asbestos assessment is being done to determine if there is any asbestos on the property.  Any asbestos will be removed by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor before the successful quoter begins their demolition of the house. 
Completely remove the structure, concrete piers, footings, contents within and around the structure, sidewalk at front of the house facing Fallbrook and culvert, driveway and culvert, and any trees against the structure.  DO NOT DAMAGE asphalt roadway.  DO NOT REMOVE large live oak trees.Project Supervisor will be Kevin Roy.  Do not contact the Project Supervisor until the project is awarded.  All questions must be addressed to Purchasing as per instructions in the notice.
