LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, will at 9:00 o’clock A.M., on the 20th day of November, 2020, at the Monroe County Chancery Building, Aberdeen, Mississippi, receive sealed or electronic bids and award contracts for nine months, from the first Monday in January, 2021, to the first Monday in October, 2021, to the lowest responsible bidders for furnishing materials and supplies to Monroe County, Mississippi, subject to the approval of the Public Procurement Review Board. Bidders MUST bid on all items F.O.B. Monroe County, Mississippi, or specifically state otherwise. It is to be and is specifically stated that the bids received will be for a period of 9 months.

BIDS for the purchase of the following supplies and materials in compliance with the above specifications shall be received on the following:
(1) Asphalt Emulsion – Must meet State Highway Department
specifications. Bidder must indicate Notice of “Cancellation
Time” Prior to Delivery, (No.) Hours. Cancellation time may be
determining factor in awarding bid.
(2) Ready-Mix Asphalt – hot and/or cold, sand and/or limestone
mixtures
SEALED bids must be filed with Clerk of the Board or by electronic submission on or before said bid time. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
