FLEET LEASING PROGRAM
Notice is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be opened for the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi at 10:00 a.m. the 16th day of December 2024 in the board room located in the Robert M. Walker Building located at 1415 Walnut Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180 for the following:
FLEET LEASING/MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Request for Proposals will be accepted until 9:00 am (CST) on Monday, December 16, 2024, in sealed envelopes at the City Clerk’s Office located at 1401 Walnut Street, 2nd Floor, Suite 212, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39180. Bidders are cautioned that the City Clerk’s Office does not receive the daily U.S. Mail on or before 9:00 am. Bids will be time-stamped upon receipt according to the City Clerk’s time clock. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City of Vicksburg Board Room located in the Robert M. Walker Annex Building at 10:00 am (CST).
Item must be bid as advertised and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, "SEALED BID FOR FLEET LEASING PROGRAM TO BE OPENED DECEMBER 16, 2024". Failure to comply will cause the bid to be disqualified.
A bid packet may be obtained from the City of Vicksburg City Clerk office located on the 2nd floor, Suite 212 of City Hall at 1401 Walnut Street Vicksburg, MS 39180 or by calling the City Clerk’s office at 601-634-4553.
Electronic bids can be obtained and submitted at www.centralbidding.com. Interested contractors can register as a vendor for free and download plans. Electronic bids are due the same time and date as sealed bids.
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids received.

City of Vicksburg is seeking bids for leasing, fleet management, and potential additional
services as defined in the Scope of Services, of 17 vehicles that will be used to support
the City of Vicksburg Police Department.
City of Vicksburg intends to award a one-year term vehicle leasing contract for 17
vehicles based on up to a 60-month agreement that will be reviewed on an annual basis.
Bidders will only submit pricing for the vehicles ordered in FY2024-2025. City of Vicksburg
is soliciting these bids to assess the approach it deems most cost effective for its needs.
Bidders will include the option to finance the one-year term vehicle leasing contract by
stating the interest rates and terms of the agreement. However, if financing options are
unavailable under the terms of this leasing contract, the Bidder must disclose the inability
to offer finance options.
