SOLICITATION FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
 
The City of Rogers, Arkansas is accepting proposals for Architectural Services for the new Rogers Fire Station #4 construction project.
 
Project Description for Architectural Services:
This project consists of design for an approximately 18,000sqft Fire Station to include:
 
· First Floor: 4 bays for fire apparatus, lobby, office, gym, gear wash, toilets, utility and Server Room.
· Second Floor: 16 bedrooms, kitchen, pantries, maintenance room, laundry, toilets, offices, living room, and patio.  
 
Fire Station will be located East of the existing Fire Station #4 in the area currently designated as Olive Street Park.
 
Offerors should submit proposals that are acceptable solely on the basis of the initial proposal submitted.  The City may proceed with award of a contract without discussion. However, the City may elect to short-list some number of offerors and conduct interviews. The City will evaluate all submitted proposals.
 
Submittals will be evaluated based upon:
 
· Specialized or appropriate expertise in this type of project
· Past performance on similar projects
· Letters of reference and reference checks
· Adequate staff for the proposed project
· Recent experience with similar project costs and schedules

Proposals submitted shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and all City ordinances.
