Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Natchez, Mississippi for the collection of solid waste, recycling and the disposal of said solid waste at the Office of the City Clerk, 124 South Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi 39120, until 2:00 P.M. CST on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Proposals will be received in the presences of the Solid Waste Review Committee, accepted, and then presented to the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
A copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) may be obtained in person from the Natchez City Clerk, 124 South Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi, 39120, or requested by mail at PO Box 1185, Natchez, Mississippi 39121, email at

A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 16,
2024 at the Natchez Council Chambers, 115 South Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi
39120 for any prospective Offerer.
Each Proposal to the City must be accompanied by a bond or a certified check of the
Offerer, drawn on a bank, in the amount of $25,000.00 and made payable to the City of
Natchez. 100% Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The total shall be a
guarantee on the part of the Offerer that it will, if called upon to do so, accept and enter
into a contract to do the work covered by such Proposal and at the rates stated therein.
