Sealed Bids will be received for the State of Louisiana by the Louisiana Army National Guard, Camp Beauregard, 420 “F” Street, Pineville, LA., 71360, Attention: MSG. Joseph G. Cole, until 2:00 p.m. on August 18, 2010. Bids will then be publicly opened and announced.

Complete Bidding Documents, consisting of Plans and Specifications, may be obtained from Alliance, Inc., 1111 Hawn Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71107, Telephone 318.221.7501. Copies may be obtained upon deposit of $100.00 for each set of documents. Deposit is fully refundable to all bona fide PRIME BIDDERS who submit a bid upon return of the documents in good and usable condition and 50% refundable to all others. Contract Documents must be returned to the office of Alliance, Inc. in good condition no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids in order to receive a deposit refund.

All Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security equal to five (5%) of the Base Bid and all additive Alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond.

A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. located at Camp Minden, Louisiana, Room A-100, Main Conference Room on Wednesday, August 11 2010. Prospective bidders must attend the pre-bid conference in order to submit a bid.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount.

On any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, the Contractor shall certify that he is licensed under Louisiana Revised Statute 37.2150-2164 and show his license number on the bid and on the envelope. Bidders must be licensed in the following category: HIGHWAY, STREET AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION.

No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
