Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Emmett Atwood property in Issaquena County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:July 30th at 9:30 a.m.

We will meet along Newman Road next to the Valley Park Grain Elevator at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Newman Road.  The location is 19 miles north of the intersection of Hwy. 61 and I-20 at Vicksburg, MS.  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory, but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, ditch/swale excavation, renovation of existing levees, constructing new levees, installation of steel pipes and water control structures, and installation of geoweb with crushed rock for spillways.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
