Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Anahuac NWR – Frozen Point Levee Project.  We are having a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 9:30 a.m. on November 17th, 2022. We will meet at the Anahuac NWR Frozen Point Parking Lot, Chambers County, TX 77514 (29°32'27.99"N; 94°31'15.19"W). Contractors are highly encouraged to bring an atv/utv to facilitate viewing the entirety of the project area.
 
This project base bid generally consists of the recapping/restoration of 16,950 linear feet of existing levee and the supply and installation 3,166 square feet of articulated concrete block mattress spillway located on Anahuac NWR – Frozen Point Levee. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, excavation, water control, pollution control, seeding, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein.
