ST. JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT GEOSYNTHETIC SLOPE STABILIZATION AB CANAL - LAKE APOPKA INVITATION FOR BID 39301

The Governing Board of the St. Johns River Water Management District (the “District”), requests that interested parties respond to the solicitation below by 2:00 p.m., November 30. Responses will be opened at the Palm Bay Service Center, 525 Community College Parkway SE, Palm Bay FL 32909.

The objective of this project is to stabilize the east side slope of the Apopka-Beauclair Canal (AB) Canal West Levee, located south of the AB Canal lock and dam in Lake County, using a geosynthetic stabilization product. Minimum specifications for the geosynthetic stabilization material are included in the Statement of Work, Attachment A to the form of Agreement herein.

The estimated budget for this project is $200,000. Staff’s recommendation of award will be presented to the District’s Governing Board on January 9, 2024. All construction is expected to be completed by May 31, 2024.
