INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board at its office
in Jennings, La. 70546, until Wednesday, April 13, 2011, @ 10:30 a.m. and shall be
opened
and read aloud for furnishing: “Duplicator Paper and Janitorial Paper Products”.
All items shall be furnished according to plans and specifications and shall be
delivered to the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board Warehouse, 1628 South
Thibodeaux Road, Jennings, La. 70546.
Bids shall be addressed to the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, P.O. Box 640,
Jennings, La 70546, Attn: Dan Lejeune, Supervisor, or brought in person to 203 East
Plaquemine Street, Jennings, La 70546 and the envelope clearly marked:
“Duplicator Paper and Janitorial Paper Products-Wednesday, April 13, 2011 @ 10:30
a.m.
In accordance with Act 590 bidders may also submit their bids online @
www.centralauctionhouse.com .
Specifications for item (s) being advertised may be obtained from Dan Lejeune,
Supervisor, 1628 South Thibodeaux Road, Jennings, La. 70546, @ the Jefferson
Davis Parish School Board Warehouse between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Any bid received after the time and date for filing shall be returned unopened to the
respective bidder.
All prices must be FIXED PRICES, including DELIVERY, to the Jefferson Davis Parish
School Board Warehouse/Tech Center, 1628 South Thibodaux Road, Jennings, La
70546. Prices shall remain fixed until December 31, 2010, unless specified by the
bidder. ALL PAPER PRODUCTS MUST BE DELIVERED ON PALLETS.
Date of delivery and time must be stated. All items must be delivered no later than
July 15, 2011 and no earlier than June 1, 2011. All late deliveries/orders will be
assessed a late fee of $100.00 per calendar day to the vendor. No deliveries
accepted after 2:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m. Shipper/Vendor must call at least 24
hours in advance of delivery. Invoices must be dated after deliveries have been
accepted.
Note: The Jefferson Davis Parish School Board will not honor “All or None”.
The Jefferson Davis Parish School board reserves the right to reject any and all
bids, and to waive any informality.
