The City of Davenport, Florida will receive Sealed Bids in the office of the City Clerk until 2:00 P.M., May 23, 2023 located at 1 South Allapaha Avenue, Davenport, FL 33837.
 
PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS MAY OBTAIN COPIES OF THE INVITATION TO BID FROM THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.mydavenport.org. As an added service bids can be submitted at www.centraIbidding.com.  For any questions regarding the electronic bidding process, please contact Central Bidding at 225-810-4814 or [email protected].
 
“Police Department Fencing Project”
 
All bids must be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with “Police Department Fencing Project – ITB 2023-005”. Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk located at 1 South Allapaha Avenue, Davenport, FL 33837 ATTENTION: Rachel Castillo until 2:00pm local time on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Submittals may be either mailed or hand delivered prior to the above deadline. Postmarks will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the bidder to assure that bids are received at City Hall no later than the specified time and date. Submittals received after this date and time will not be accepted or considered.
 
A public bid opening will be held immediately following the 2:00 P.M. deadline at City Hall, for those that wish to attend.
 
The project specified shall be furnished in accordance with the Invitation to Bid, Specifications, and Terms and Conditions attached hereto and made part hereof as fully set forth herein and any other documents prepared for this bid.
 
Bidders shall submit bids on our Proposal and Bid Form. Please note the AFFIDAVIT form which must also be completed. W-9 should be attached to the bid. Payment will be rendered to the name and ID appearing on the W-9.
 
The City of Davenport reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to readvertise, and to enter into a contract determined to be in the best interest, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions referenced herein above.
