Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System by the Purchasing Department located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508. Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.
 
Sealed proposals will be received until June 14, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. CST for:
                       
                        Voluntary Benefits and Enrollment Services
                        RFP #25-20
                       
 
The RFP #25-20 is to obtain a proposal from a qualified firm to provide voluntary payroll benefits and enrollment services to the employees of LPSS.  Interested qualified firms must demonstrate in their proposal response the ability to provide the scope services depicted below.  Proposals must provide a straightforward and concise presentation, adequate to satisfy the requirements of the RFP. Emphasis should be on completeness, clarity of contents, and responsiveness to the RFP. 
 
A Request for Proposal package may be obtained from the Purchasing Department website at www.lpssonline.com/site638.php or via Central Auction House (registration required) at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
 
On June 14, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. CST, only the name of the proposal respondents will be read aloud in the Personnel Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services.  To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
