Sealed bids will be received by the Marion County Board of Supervisors, 215 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi until 2:00 o=clock P.M. (CST) on June 25, 2020 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for:
Repairs and renovations to the existing Marion County-City of Columbia Public Library building located at 900 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi. Work includes primarily repairs or replacement of interior finishes, existing millwork, air conditioning repairs/replacement, plumbing and related work required to address storm damage.
Bid proposals will be accepted until 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the office of the Marion County Board of Supervisors, 215 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi 39429, or by electronic bid submission. Physical bids must be submitted in duplicate with bid security in accordance with the instructions to bidders which are bound in the Project Manual. The proposal offered shall be according to minimum specifications therefor, copies of which are available at the office of the Chancery Clerk of Marion County, Mississippi. Specifications are also available through Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Specifications are also available through the www.coxarchplans.com website.
A payment and performance bond in the full amount of the contract will be required of the successful bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days of the bid opening.
Each bidder must have a current Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility (COR) and must write the COR number on the outside of the bid envelope and shall include the COR number on the bid form in the blank provided. The Architect for this project is:
