IN THE MATTER OF ADVERTISEMENT
FOR SALE OF USED COUNTY EQUIPMENT
ONE (1) HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR – ROAD DEPT
  
            THIS DAY there came on for consideration by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, a report from the Road Manager of the need to advertise the sale of one (1) hydraulic excavator which will be replaced with a new unit.  The Road Manager recommended advertising for bids.  After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the following notice to bidders be posted in three (3) places at least ten (10) days prior to the sale and published two (2) times in The Panolian, to-wit:
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
            Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, will on the 4th day of March, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., open all sealed competitive bids received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1st, 2019, for the sale to the highest and best bidder for cash, one (1) hydraulic excavator, as follows, to-wit:

            Equipment will be located at the County Shop in Sardis, Mississippi, for inspection.
            Sealed, competitive bids must be received in the Office of the Panola County Administrator on or before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1st, 2019.  Bids may be delivered to the Panola County Administrator’s Office, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or mailed to the Panola County Administrator, P.O. Box 807, Batesville, MS 38606 or electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  The items will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The property is being offered “as is” without any warranties, except for clear title.
